Customizing the History tool |
-
In the Tools menu,
click Internet Options-
Click the General
tab -
Under history, in the Days to keep pages
in history field, set the number of days to keep
History information -
Click
Clear History to
clear the History -
Click
OK

Adding the current page to Favorites |
-
In the Favorites menu, click
Add to Favorites
or click
Add
on the Favorites tool or right-click the
page, then click
Add to Favorites
in the context menu -
In the
Add Favorites dialog box, in the Name
field, edit the Favorite's name as needed -
If the
Create in folder list is not displayed, click
Create in -
To
create a new folder, click the folder in which to
create the new folder, then click
New
Folder.
Type the folder name, then click
OK -
To
select a folder in which to place the new Favorite,
click that folder -
Click
OK

Using the Organize Favorites dialog box |

To
display the dialog box, in the Favorites menu, click
Organize Favorites
or click Organize
on the Favorites tool
-
To
display the contents of a folder, click the folder
-
To move
a page or folder, click and drag it to the new
location
-
To
create a new folder, click
Create Folder. Type the name, then press
Enter
-
To
rename a folder or Favorite, click it, then click
Rename. Type the
new name, then press Enter
-
To move
a Favorite or folder to another folder, click
Move To Folder. In
the tree of folders that displays, click the folder
you want, then click OK
-
To
delete a Favorite or folder, click it, then click
Delete
-
Click
Close

Setting up an e-mail account |

In the
Tools menu, click
Accounts
-
In the
Mail tab of the Internet Accounts dialog box, click
Add
-
In the
pop-up list, click
Mail
-
Use the
Internet Connection Wizard to enter the information
supplied by your ISP

Displaying or removing Outlook Express interface elements |

In the View menu, click
Layout
-
In the Window Layout
Properties dialog box, click an element's check box
to either remove or display the element

Click
OK
