... on Viewing Newsgroup Messages

You don't have to subscribe to a newsgroup in order to view its messages. To view messages for a newsgroup from the Newsgroup Subscriptions dialog box, click the newsgroup, then click Go to.

... to Pause Printing

In the Printers and Faxes window, select a printer. In the left pane of the window, under Printer Tasks, click Pause Printing.

 

The term "network architecture" can also refer to the design of a network, which includes the hardware, software, information transfer methods, and protocols used.

... to Add a Font

Drag and drop a new font icon from the source window into the Fonts window.

 

... on Security Zones

The right section of the status bar lists the security zone for the current page.

... to Rename Files

You can also rename a file or folder without using the menus:

Click the object name to select it. Wait one second, then click the name again. Type the new name in the label. Press Enter.

 

... on Your Home Page

Any page can be your home page. In the General tab of the Internet Options dialog box, check the Use current check box to make the displayed page your home page, or type the address of the page you want to use.

... to Delete Objects

Instead of selecting Delete from the File menu, you can press the Delete key to delete selected objects.

 

The computer you want to connect to has to be powered on; otherwise, you will not be able to connect to it.

... to Add an Icon to the Quick Launch Bar

If the object you want to add is already on the Desktop, just drag the icon to the Quick Launch bar.

 

... on Creating Messages

If you're unable to complete a message at once, you can save the message to the Drafts folder. Just click Save in the File menu. You can then open the message from the Drafts folder and finish it at a later time.

The Control Panel also provides access to the Date/Time dialog box. In the Start menu, click Control Panel. In the Control Panel, double-click the Date/Time icon.

 

... on Hiding Components

You can also close the Contacts list and Folder List using the close buttons at the top right of these elements. You can use their context menus of the Outlook bar and toolbar to hide them.
